BBC Micro/Electron Software Label and home of 8-bit Acorn development

Repton: The Lost RealmsPosted: Tues July 22, 2008 00:51
Retro Software is a community dedicated to encouraging and supporting the development of brand new games for "retro" computing platforms, particularly the BBC Microcomputer range, the Acorn Electron, the Acorn Atom and the Archimedes.

We provide information on projects currently in development, a forum for programmers and gamers alike to gather opinion and ask questions, as well as a knowledge-base that experts can use to document coding principles, best practices etc.

Also available are a number of tools for modern systems, which are intended to make it easier to develop software for such classic machines.

Eventually, we hope Retro Software will also grow into a software label; enabling the release of certain projects "professionally" on floppy disc and/or tape, complete with printed inlays and labels. However, you can be assured that the Retro Software movement will always remain a 100% non-profit initiative.

Want to know how to get started with Retro Software?
