Well, here it is for now, I'm afraid I am going to have to take another break.

I don't have space for docking with the mother ship without losing more of the dashboard, and am not feeling too well, so the compromise for now is to turn all the asteroids into fireballs and refuel that way.

EDIT: Lockup fixed, new .ssd added

beebem and b-em have different sound emulation on windows, so pick the one that sounds best to you.

I am still planning on adding joystick support.

Thanks for the help and feedback,
Tricky

EDIT: .ssd update with one that doesn't hang!

Added a loading screen and experimental joystick support.
beeb joysticks should be OK, the warp is on joystick 2's fire button.
Master should be the same as a straight beeb (untested).
Compact AFAIK only has one fire button, so I have used UP (or was it down). Anyway, I don't know how to make a Compact readable disk, so also untested!

EDIT: updated .ssd, WARP and FIRE should not both be mapped to RETURN now

Hmm ... my BeebEm (v4.14) doesn't seem to like this.

The game starts ok but as soon as I press RETURN (to fire) the game slows down to a snail's pace (pretty much the same behaviour on the earlier betas if you happened to catch the SHIFT key)???

Ah, I see what I have done, both WARP and FIRE are mapped to RETURN!

Adding new .ssd and updating previous one.

PS The slowdown is part of the game ;) although it should have a 10 second countdown before it goes back to normal speed and yes, your fuel should go down at the non-warp rate.

Fixed a small sound bug, the sound still needs work.

I don't like joysticks, plus my Master Compact joystick port is now to run my MMC interface from, with Super MMC rom. I can confirm this does indeed work on mine.
(I could make a actual disc, but it's such a pain with a MCompact and it's big PSU box and built in 31/2" disc drive)

Good work Tricky! 8-)
