Heh, cheers!

I'll finish it off sometime, promise! ;)

Does anyone know of a nice way to format code in the wiki - would be nice to put it in a box as well as using typewriter font. Maybe I can use a single entry table for that... hmmmm......?

Edit: OK, one way to do it is as follows:

<tt>
@LDA #1
@STA &FE00
@LDA #64
@STA &FE01
</tt>

with the leading space at the beginning of each line.

Yeah, that's the generally accepted way of doing it, though tt refers to a typewriter font so the synonym <code> code </code> is normally used.

Either way is good - you pays yer money and you takes yer choice, as The Mad Hatter used to say.

Check the Wikitext reference for more useful formatting help:

Hey, I'd like to be able to upload a .ssd file to the wiki, but it's telling me that it'll only accept image types. Can this be changed, or is there an alternative way of doing it (bearing in mind I don't have any webspace of my own)?

Cheers!

Rich,

You should be able to upload ZIP archives as well as images. We can add other extensions to the list of accepted extensions but, as it encourages people to compress the size of their files, I think we'd prefer they were uploaded as archives unless there's a good reason not to (in which case, request it in this forum and we can modify the list as appropriate).

HTH,

Sam.

Good on you Rich for getting the ball rolling.

Btw. in the Wiki part, only the indentation is needed to make monospaced text.

Please finish off the article on scree rupture/scrolling I'm in suspenders to hear more. I'd love to do a scrolly game some time soon but have never quite managed to get decent scrolling yet!

Cheers

Dom

Hi,

Just making a brief reappearance - have been really busy recently. I will definitely finish off the smooth scrolling article eventually, when I have more time :)
