I played Mountain Panic yesterday and I must say that the movements are very smooth. Also the graphics are very nice, great game. Well done!!!!

Thanks Kees :) I spent quite a bit of time trying to get each screen right, so even though the instructions were a bit minimal, it wasn't too frustrating to play.

Do you have plans for the next game .....

I've got a few ideas yeah, probably something simpler than an arcade adventure though as that took me far too long. Maybe a run n gun or puzzle game, something more data driven which I can generate more content for easily.

That said, I'm leaving the retro stuff alone for a while and will probably pick one of my ideas up next year.

Cheers

Dave

Hi Dave,

Congratulations on the game! I bought on Friday after seeing a thread on Stardot and I've not been disappointed. I couldn't wait for the disk to arrive and I'm not a fan of emulators so I managed to hook up my HxC to the Micro I got last week and copied the SSD image to that (just need a longer floppy cable).

I can see it was a real labour of love for you and it shows in the quality.

Have you submitted a copy of the game to TMR to review in Retro Gamer?

I've got a Master 128 as well so I can't wait to see what you do for your next game.

Cheers! I must confess I would hate to know how much time I spent designing the screens to get them just how I wanted them

I believe samwise emailed him a copy a while back - been meaning to chase it up with Jason but didn't want to look like I was pestering him.

Glad you enjoyed it,

Dave

Picked up my copy from ebay at the end of last week, and i love it!

Instantly took me back to being a kid playing games like palace of magic, and camelot.

Have to say i'm pretty bad at it at the moment, but i think that's more to do with my gun-ho attitude i've picked up from modern gaming.

Hopefully this is the first of many new releases on the BBC :D

Indeed; I probably will do another BBC game but in the meantime I'm hoping someone else will pick up the baton and get some fresh stuff out this year!
