1. Typing of the dead BEEB EDITION
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNfQ_B6_xy8

Ok so you'd have to rename it for copyright, and simplify the zombie graphics a lot lol (I imagine the agent in the middle of the screen shooting left/right at oncoming zombies as you type). But the main addiction is typing fast before the zombies get to you & spelling correctly in time. This harks back to the Beebs educational background but is actually an additive 'score attack' concept.

2. Rhythm games

This could actually be done in Mode 7. As the notes for each of the 4 sound channels hit the bar at the bottom, you press the corresponding key to score. The keys would be spread across the keyboard like a piano ie. [Z] [V] [M] [?].
Depending on how many tunes would fit in memory, this would dictate the amount of tunes on add-on disks after release.

3. Spawn / Frogger sequel concept.

Imagine 1 frog spawn for each letter on the bottom line of the keyboard. As you press each key the frogs jump is charged up. The longer you hold the key determines the distance it flies vertically to the top half of the screen to land on a timely horizontally scrolling lily pad.

4. Re-Welcome Disk.

A graphically enhanced version of the original welcome disc content ie. Bat & Ball with decent graphics/more variation etc.

That'll do for now, more ideas to come if anyone likes where i'm going with these.

There's a few of the 80's software houses could have made very good use of youImage

The piano game is pretty scary, I'd be stuffed with Three Blind Mice, never mind a concerto  - You're right though, would make a nice Mode 7 game and hence wouldn't be too hard to code.

The problem as always is finding Beeb programmers with enough spare time on their hands - there's quite a few stalled projects on here already where the authors would love to finish their masterpieces but life keeps getting in the way. (Me included btw... :()

You could always try a bit of canvassing over on the Stardot forums too...?
