I have finally brought MazezaM to the release stage and it can be found at:
http://www.retrosoftware.co.uk/wiki/index.php/MazezaM

The disk image now contains all 3 previous level sets plus what is probably my final lot, simply because I cannot make them any harder.
There is also a level designer included so that anyone with a mind to can create their own standalone games.
There was a hasty last minute revision, after the final version that I sent to Samwise didn't have enough room on the disk for the standalone to be compiled which is now fixed.

The Elk version has also been updated to include all 4 level sets.

Both versions include some artwork, tape images and there are instructions for the designer included in the Beeb archive.
My final little frippery was a set of type-in listings for the four games on the Beeb, inspired by Jason Kelk's type-in game in RG#100.
I don't expect anyone ever to make any use of them, but I just wanted to try.

I am currently trying to ad joystick support to the Elk version and have what appears to be a working version (using Elkulator's plus 1 emulation) and would be most grateful if someone would be able to test it on the real thing before I plough onwards.

Man - it's beautiful, so polished, so many levels, so hard, great selection screen - very professional.

The first game is still more of my level I think - it eases you in more gently - ha! ha!

It's got that annoying addictiveness like Sokoban.

I love the disk inlay picture - who drew that?

Is there going to be a physical release? (same for Harry2 and Jungle)

I'm up to buy a copy.

Hi PJ,
Glad you like it. :D

>The first game is still more of my level I think
Practice makes perfect. If you get stuck, try In Da 80s. They're not so nasty.

>I love the disk inlay picture - who drew that?
I take full responsibility for that.

I've got the joystick working on the Elk version so all(????) that remains now is to sort out the level designer.

The level designer is now up and running on the Elk.
Just the menu screen to go.

I tried the Electron version earlier today - very challenging. :)

Looks good and is very well presented overall. The inlays are a nice touch.

Thanks David :D

I have now upgraded the Elk version to also include the designer.
All the bits are there from the Beeb version.
The only thing missing now is an ADFS image.
As soon as I work out how to do this I shall put it in the archive too.

How did you create the DFS image? Was it done using a utility or did you create it manually by copying files from cassette?

I assembled the code straight to a dfs image in Swift.

A huge apology.
The Elk version I put up earlier had a bug in the designer and the wrong tape images.
This has now been seen to.
(I really must learn to tidy up my files)

I had a play of this last night and got thoroughly hooked.

Kian, I think this is a great game and love the graphics. Well done!

Sam: Out of interest, has this and other recent RS releases been publicised on Stardot forums?

So -- anyone else made any progress with the third level set? I can't even get past Level 2! :o
