| Post subject: | ROM utility to aid BASIC programming - show variables |
Hi, I was looking for a utility ROM that would aid BASIC programming. Specifically, I wanted something to list all the variables used in a program. I thought Toolkit Plus would have this functionality, but it doesn't appear to. I then thought Sleuth might have it - the latest version I can find is 1.06, although a version 2 rom is listed in a txt file on The BBC Lives! When I try and run it with *SLEUTH it just seems to go nuts - I've tried with Model B 1770 & 8271. On a Master it doesn't go nuts, but doesn't seem to do anything. Sleuth 1.05a seems to work better but I don't think it has the functionality to list anything but the current variables in use (not list all variables in a program). So can anyone recommend an alternative with that sort of functionality? Sam. |

D'oh. RTFM. Toolkit Plus' *XREF does exactly this. Sam. |
