I just spent literally an hour getting Mixed Grill March to work on the Electron.

This is possibly the laziest electron port ever - it still runs in mode 2. Mode 2 really is next to useless on the Electron. - I had to chop loads of things out (like the player's feet!) to make it run faster.

It's terrible, flickery, and slow. But it's just about playable. I don't think I'll bother to offer this as an "official" download on the wiki page, but If you have the burning urge to play this on your Electron, now is your chance :)

I've added a note with a link to this unofficial build on the MGM wiki page, just so masochistic Electron users can find it. :)

Does it run better with a turbo board?

It'll quite likely run too fast with a turbo board :) - I commented out the "wait for vertical blank" to make it run a bit faster (albeit very flickery) on the standard Electron.

It'd probably be quite easy to put something together that runs full speed with a turbo board (maybe even the normal BBC version, if the Electron incompatibility bug is fixed), though I don't have the hardware to try it myself.

There's certainly scope to make a better Electron port too if anyone wanted to spend the time - either by keeping it in Mode 2 and using smaller sprites, or by moving everything to Mode 5.
