OK so the minute it's released I think of things we should have thought of before

Here's my suggestions:
Flashing mushrooms get you no points, yet (unlike in the 1986 original) now we have a highscore table, so rather like optional fruit in Pac-Man, it's worth making them worth collecting, beyond the marginal reward of being able to remove one extra rock from gameplay.
- when you eat the flashing mushroom, get 50 points
- when you eat a rock having eaten a flashing mushroom, get 20 points
- when you've eaten a flashing mushroom, when it returns to gameplay (after eating a rock or mushroom or timeout), make it start on a rock, like it does at the start of the game, thus removing another rock from gameplay. (If anyone ever codes this, remember the incredibly unlikely edge case that someone's collected all the rocks!)
