It wouldn't take more than an hour to change the BBC Mode 5 title screen and the cover illustration if you did want to change the name - it's a negligible amount of work so please don't let that stop you calling the game whatever you want to.

It's a shorter name which will fit in a 7 character Beeb filename
But traditionally you're allowed some grammatical creativity with filenames - e.g. ONSLORT ;)

Thanks Dave, that's great to know - really, if it were to be a real pain to make the changes at this stage, then my decision would already be made, and I'd leave the name alone (particularly since it already has support!).

Right! I'm going to close the poll on Friday, and at the weekend I'll make a final decision on the name (as I want to get the title page done). If you'd still like to vote, do it before then!

Well, the results are in, they've been counted and double-checked, and we have a clear winner.

By a huge margin of TWO (2) votes, the winning title is.... Blurp!

"I'd like to thank my friends and family for making everything possible, the loyal folk of STH and RS for their encouragement and support, my director, my producer, everyone who gave thei-"(snip)

Well, I was going to stick with Onslaught, but in the end I decided to go with Blurp after all. I think ultimately it fits the game better (particularly given the cutesy music and graphical style).

Cheers everyone for your comments, and here's to hoping that I can get it finished soon!
