Mountain Panic has been in development now about a year (off and on), so to commemorate its birthday I thought I'd share an early screenshot! Here's the initial version with (shock, horror) some programmer graphics: ![]() And a more modern version:

Slowly Although I really enjoy working on it I simply don't get the time to work on it as much as I'd like. The frustrating thing is it'd probably only take me about a fortnight to finish off if I was working 9-5 on it. So more of an enjoyable stroll than a sprint really |

It's always extremely impressing that people can find time to do enough to get something looking this good when working 9-5. In the past I've found that 2-3hr sessions minimum are needed to do anything substantial! |

I have to admire anybody who can create instead of just dissecting. It's looking very professional, better than a lot of the games that were released originally! Keep up the good work! |

I've just had my first play on the demo and love it! The rope is just genius. The only game I remember playing on the beeb that gave that level of control over the playing environment was Imogen - I remember growing a plant to climb to a higher platform. Can't wait to see where this one goes! |

Thanks guys for all the positive feedback. The entire game is actually planned out, it's just finding the time (and memory) to implement it all If I do another BBC game after Panic I dare say it won't be an arcade adventure |
