Hi while searching the net for old BBC/Electron repton levels to work on a Beeb emulator or convert to PC version of Repton 3, I came across the website http://aw.drobe.co.uk/REPTON/ with some of my old levels on it most notably the thundercats level and it also mention my name Arthur (which is my real name by the way), I was the guy who sold his BBC computer collection including loads of Repton levels including several football and rude levels etc and we were packing BBC gear into his little red car well into the night (I still have a BBC monitor or two in the loft if you want them lol).

I don't mind you publishing them on your websites or comercially but like you mention I was to get in touch if I would like credit for these, I have no problem with that.

I now sometimes wish I never got rid of my BBC software for nostalgic reasons and that I gave a lot of work away with that collection but if someone could make use of it so much the better, I don't mind.

Like I said I'm looking for as many Repton levels as possible including my old one to either finish the unfinished ones or to convert them to the new PC version from Superior Interactive, so if its possible please send as many as possible to my website at thealien@ntlworld.com.

Sorry to hear Stairway is no longer being updated!

Thanks for posting

Hi Arthur,

many thanks for getting back in touch.

Chris Richardson's 8 Bit Software website has a download link for the Repton levels from Andrew's site, including yours (http://8bs.com/pool/tbi/tbi45.zip) and also a page where you can look at the maps (http://8bs.com/submit/subreptonmaps.htm).

I'd be very interested to know precisely which sets were designed by you. There is a possibility we could release some of them as part of a future package for the Superior Interactive PC version -- although as the levels are currently available for free, albeit in BBC version format, they would have to be modified before including them in a commercial package so that customers would be getting something new. This editing could be done by me -- I have already done similar work on the levels designed by Michael Foot and Chris Richardson. I can't promise that your levels could be included, but if you give me a list of which ones they are then I'd be happy to at least take a look at them.
