Does the bug tracker automatically notify by e-mail the project manager of any new issues that are reported?

I only ask because so far I am the only one who has done any reporting of issues (my own ideas and findings plus those that have been reported directly to me and not via the bug tracker) and I would assume that I would not get an automatic e-mail for this.
