Post subject:  Beeb spriting and level design volunteer steps up!

Hiya!

I see I'm already listed as a graphics volunteer here, but I suspect that may go waaay back to when this site started out. Back then I suggested I might possibly be useful for something in that vein (and then disappeared for many months).

Well now I'd actually like to get pro-active in helping with people's projects, so Samwise and DaveJ suggested I come register for active duty here and also bug a couple of people who have things already going on.

Samwise thought it'd be a good plan for me to list some of my experience and maybe show some samples, but I don't really have anything 'on my CV' in the Beeb department - other than messing around with Repton graphics and endless never-completed BASIC games back in the day.

I've got precious little of any old stuff on this PC, but here's a bit of a church I made in the game Hobgoblin (with a map editor I wrote myself). This is a MODE1 sprite editor I made too - the 'Pacmen' are from Perplexity and the snowman & santa aren't mine either, but the other stuff was me making some icons for games - Inertia, L, The Last Ninja, Cyborg Warriors, etc.

In more recent times I've done a crapload of modding in the online Doom community. This has also been mainly centred on graphics and level design. I could post endless samples of that stuff, but it wouldn't really be relevant here, so I'll just show off a shot of a map I created named 'Sentinel Returns' ;)

Look forward to helping somebody out!
