After Carnival http://www.retrosoftware.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=877 I'm thinking of reviving a project I started over 30 years ago Rally-X. I have a few ideas about how to achieve the scrolling, but haven't actually written any code yet. Does anyone know of a BBC version or tried writing one, or just have some comments / words of encouragement Richard |

Superior Software released Road Runner, but it only had left-right scrolling. Road Runner was the name of a bootleg version of Rally-X. Our local swimming baths had a cabinet with this name - it was only later in life that I learned that it must have been a bootleg. I've also thought about trying to write a version for the Electron. The only other attempt I've seen was a fairly reasonable magazine type-in version in Electron User, though the scrolling wasn't so impressive. |
