Hi Steve, I can't seem to get the sprite designer to work. When I follow the first tutorial, I click apply and get an error message - Attachment: This is followed by an access violation - Attachment: Any ideas what I am doing wrong? |

Hi Jerry, Are you running 3.0 or 3.1 ? I'll then try and replicate in whichever one it is. Ver. 3.2 is ready for release so if it's something I need to fix I'll put it in before releasing. The first error message should really only occur if the sprite file is locked, but I'll just check that it's not getting accidentally triggered by something else and giving you a false message. The second message is because at the point it's going wrong the code is not expecting it to and I'm guessing the code is trying to access the sprite project item even though it doesn't exist, hence the violation. I can add in some extra code to trap this. |

Hi Jerry, I've just done some tests and could replicate this issue in Beta version 3.1. But the error doesn't occur in 3.0 and doesn't occur in version 3.2. So somewhere in 3.1. I introduced a slight error which is not present in the older or later version. Can you confirm you were using 3.1 ? I will try my best to get 3.2 up for you today and this should solve your issue. You should be able to go back to 3.0 without issues if you wish (as long as your not using the new "text" item). Sorry about this, hope it hasn't annoyed to much. |

Steve, you're a legend I'm now on my way to learning 6502 assembly language again after 20 odd years of not touching it... Thanks for a great program! |
