Steve - do you know the codec used in the AVIs for the tutorial videos?

Strangely, some do not play in VLC (audio only, with a blank green screen), but DO run in Windows Media Player 10. Normally VLC plays anything I throw at it, but not this time.

(Tutorial vid 9 is an example of one that doesn't show video in VLC)

Whats VLC ?

Anyway the codec is CRAM (Microsoft Video 1).

Just a bog standard codec which apparantly may not be available on Vista now for whatever reason !

Hope this helps

VLC is a free media player.. It'll usually have a stab at playing most things

Yes, at the time I wasn't using my normal set up and I'd no way to record sound. That tutorial needs re-doing. I'll try and get round to it this week when I release a updated version of Swift. I think I mention it's got no sound somewhere or other.
